What separates Zija’s products from other Health products being offered?

One of the things that I wondered before trying this product is “What’s the big deal?” I look through my Facebook Newsfeed and I see other programs that seem to do the same thing. So what’s up?

I’ve never tried these other products so I’m taking an outside looking in view. It seems that if your only goal is to lose weight they may be the way to go. Even though Zija has strong testimonial support for weight loss. But once you lose that weight what’s left? Do you continue drinking the shakes and taking the pills etc? If you lose 50lbs and your blood pressure is still high could things have been better? If you don’t want to lose weight at all will those products be beneficial to you as well.

The difference I find with Zija is with the nutrition element. Weight loss mostly comes as a result of your body receiving the nutrition that it has been craving. So even if weight loss isn’t your goal who doesn’t need nutrition that leads to increased energy and fewer food cravings. This product has anti-inflammatory support, promotes healthy digestion, increases energy and heightens mental clarity among many other benefits. I’m not sure if the other products can boast those benefits.

My wife has Chrohn’s disease and it causes her to have to take a lot of pain medication and also saps her energy pretty quickly. She has been drinking the Zija products for just about 3 weeks and she’s down to one pain pill a day and has the energy and stamina to start personal training at the gym. Prior to this stuff that almost seemed like an impossibility because of random inflammation that she’d get in her joints.

Bottom line is all of the products seem to do a great job of staying in their lane for what they do. Zija on the other hand is a little rude and it covers several lanes all at once.

Day 19 of my Zija trials

I randomly weighed myself today. I was expecting to have gained weight because we just came off of a week vacation where we didn't care much about our diet nor did we engage in much exercise. We did a little exercise with fitness bands but no real cardio. Needless to say I'm pleasantly surprised to have lost about 3lbs since the last time I weighed in prior to our trip. The only thing I was consistent with is drinking the XM+ until we ran out and taking my XMPM capsules. I'm quite excited about this as you can tell now that we're back we're getting back on our eating and exercise regimen. Look out. In case you're interested in the products here's a link for more information.

How does the product taste?

This is one of the questions that I would be wondering if I were reading these write ups so I'll touch on it. All of the products include only natural ingredients. Basically if it's not grown it's not in it. This leads to the taste being very much up to the person consuming it. There are not artificial sweeteners in it so if you're expecting Crystal Light or some other sweet drink you may be disappointed in the flavor. In my opinion the XM+ has the best flavor. It's sort of a Citrus type flavor. The SmartMix isn't as sweet as the XM+ but it has an alright flavor as well. It sort of reminds me of a Green Tea (which is in it) but sweeter. The Cleansing Tea wasn't very good to me. I've heard some people say they love it but to me it tasted like I'd imagine grass tasting. It doesn't help that I'm from the south and we drink Sweet tea so most herbal teas are terrible to me so I'm not a reliable source on that one. I have heard it said though that the Moringa plant on it's own does not taste good and that Zija does a great job of spicing up the flavor for consumption.

Day 8 of My Zija Trials

Day 8 of my Zija Trials is winding down. I actually feel pretty good. Going to see Iron Man 3 tonight after work with some friends. My energy level has been pretty high for the past few days. My wife and I had a very busy weekend. She graduated from nursing school on Friday and the event was broken up into two ceremonies so we were moving around for about 6-8 hours which can be very draining. We actually made it through both of them and still had quite a bit of energy left over.

Another part of my goal with this product is weight loss. I received a compliment from my aunt on Sunday about noticing my weight loss. It's nice to hear that from someone that doesn't specifically know that you are trying to lose weight. I'm holding out a few days to weigh in officially but it's good for people to notice.

I need to get my wife to write a little something about her experiences with the product. She has been loving the XM+. Her energy level has been very high since she started drinking it. This is a big deal because due to some health challenges she usually gets drained quickly. Over these last few days though she has been very active. She's even gotten enough energy to start receiving personal training at the gym. Just two weeks ago that pretty much seemed impossible. If for no other reason seeing the benefits for my wife have made this product worthwhile.

Day 2 of my Zija Trials

These posts won’t be daily but since this will be Day 1 of using the product starting in the morning I’m going to do a write up on that. Also I want to talk about some of my hopes for myself from using the product.

I’m using the Weight Management System which came with several components. The SmartMix, Samples of XMAM, Full pack of XMPM, XM+Energy Mix and Premium Tea. Each Product has a different function as you can imagine. The SmartMix is supposed to be the foundation of the whole system. Here is a short description from the website of it.

Smart Mix
Shake things up with Zija’s SmartMix, an easy-to-open packet that you can add to water for a dose of pure nutrition – even on the go! SmartMix is packed with Moringa’s 90+ verifiable, cell-ready vitamins, minerals, vital proteins, antioxidants, omega oils, and other benefits.

When looking into this product I heard several testimonials about this product alone. There were people that had high blood pressure and just from drinking this product for a few weeks it drastically went down. I’ve heard stories of joint pain and arthritis improving and in some cases going away just from drinking this over a period of time. The product doesn’t promise to cure any diseases but it does promise to provide your body with certain nutrients that it lacks from the basic diet. I’m curious to see for myself personally whether I have any tangible results like that myself. For example I sometimes have stiffness in my knees throughout the day that I’m curious to see if I notice improvement with. Also I’m curious to see if my blood pressure, HDL’s and LDL’s ect will be noticeably different after an extended period of time using this product. My numbers have typically been in the safe range but usually on the high end of the safe range so it’ll be great to just make this one change and have them fall closer to the middle of the safe areas.

So I started the morning off with the SmartMix. They say to drink it about 30 minutes before you eat breakfast so that it can absorb unimpeded  into your system so I did that. I also took one of the XMAM capsules. It’s supposed to help control those morning cravings, promote fat burning and give an energy boost. It’s so subtle but I did notice a little more energy as I was moving around this morning and driving into work. It’s nothing overwhelming but it’s noticeable.

I've been trying to keep a schedule of eating at least 5 meals a day. I told myself at 9:00 I need to go ahead and eat a snack but I wasn't hungry and 10:00 rolls around and I still hadn't eaten anything because I forgot and my stomach didn't remind me. I had to make myself eat a Nutrigrain bar just to keep my schedule. So without even realizing it the XMAM has curbed my appetite for over 4 hours after just eating two boiled egg whites for breakfast. I find that impressive because normally I'm hungry again after about an hour.

I didn't actually start to feel hungry until around noon and that's just with two eggs and a nutrigrain bar which is nothing for a 6'2 230lb guy. My energy has stayed pretty consistent throughout the day but as of 3:00 or so it's slowly going down. I have to drive an hour and a half to Decatur after work so I drank some XM+ at 4:00 for an extra boost for the 2nd half of my day. I have to say that overall I'm impressed with the results on Day 2.

Day 1 of my Zija trials

So I received my Zija package in the mail today. I've been looking forward to testing this out. It's important to me to make sure a product works before I feel comfortable recommending it to other people. I'll be blogging a review of the various products over the next few months.

A little background on my fitness journey. I've been working on losing fat and building muscle. I started personal training in mid March of this year and have been doing my best to eat responsibly and workout at least 3 times a week. In mid March I weighed in at 233lbs. As of today 5/8 I am down to 229lbs and have a slight difference in my hips and legs. These results are without the use of any supplements. Over the next few months I'll be testing the Weight management kit to see what results I can get by adding this to my daily routine.

My favorite part of the kit and the one that drew me to it is the XM+. This is an all natural energy mix. I drank it before going to the gym. I noticed my energy level gradually going up as I was driving. The cool thing is it didn't spike and crash like most energy drinks. I was able to do a strenuous workout with deadlifts, squats and a 2k on the elliptical and could've done more. I was then able to come home and wash my dog, which didn't make her happy. I also noticed that I didn't get the extreme munchies like I normally do after a tough workout. Overall I feel like the product did well on day 1. After all it's 10:00 and I'm typing up this blog review. :-)
